Bring our films to life in your city
MaâtMov supports associations, collectives, cinemas and institutions in organising film screenings and debates throughout France. We believe that a few well-attended screenings, followed by a meaningful discussion, can have more impact than a wide release without an audience. Our role is to help make your event a success, from the first poster to the final word of the discussion.
1. Two ways to screen our films
In a cinema. The film is programmed by the cinema in agreement with MaâtMov, which receives a share of the screening’s box-office revenue. If you are an association, please get in touch with your partner cinema:
we will work with them to arrange the programming and delivery of the film. If you are a cinema, we can put you in touch with local associations to co-organise the screening.
Outside a cinema. Library, community venue, outdoor screening: public screening rights are included in our support packages, at no extra cost. These screenings are possible after a certain period following the film’s theatrical release; contact us to find out the earliest possible date for each film.
2. Our support packages
Organising a screening and discussion takes time and expertise. Our support packages fund the work of the MaâtMov team as we prepare your event with you, as well as the fees of the directors and speakers who accompany our films. In cinemas, they are added to the cinema’s film programming arrangements; outside cinemas, they include the screening rights.
Support Package: €160 incl. VAT. You lead the discussion with your own speakers, and we take care of:
- the poster and flyer for your screening, if needed;
- coordination with the venue to screen our additional content;
- an organiser’s discussion kit: Q&As, presentation materials, notes and an interview with the director, and for some films, a video message from the director addressed to your audience;
- publication of your event on our website and social media;
- our advice on preparing for and hosting the event.
Support Package with Speaker: €220 incl. VAT. Everything included above, plus the attendance of the director or, if they are unavailable, a specialist speaker. We take care of everything: contacting them, scheduling, booking tickets and paying the speaker’s fee. Their travel, accommodation and meal expenses remain your responsibility.
These rates can be adapted to your situation (small venue, free admission, multiple-date tour). Let’s talk.

3. How does it work?
- Contact us at contact@maatmov.com with the date, venue, partner cinema and package you are interested in. We will check the film’s availability and, if needed, the availability of the director or a speaker.
- Confirm the event. We will send you an information form, which we use to prepare the communications and invoicing. Your data will remain confidential.
- Let’s prepare the event together. We arrange delivery of the film with the venue, publish your screening on our website, create your posters and flyers, send you the organiser’s discussion kit and arrange for the speaker to attend.
