The screenings
Bring our films to life in your city
MaâtMov supports associations, collectives, cinemas, and institutions in organizing screening-discussions throughout France. Our films are available for rent for one-off events or touring programs.
In addition to providing the films, we support you through every stage of organizing your event. If you wish, the director can be present to lead the discussion with the audience. If they are unavailable, we will arrange for another qualified speaker to take part.
1. contact us
We are updating our Terms and Conditions of Sale effective October 1, 2025.
The event organizer is our main point of contact. They are also responsible for paying the rental fee and connecting us with the venue or cinema to coordinate technical details.
The standard rental fee is €230 including tax (mostly paid to the director and their team), which helps support and sustain the organization of screenings across France. We remain open to adjusting the price depending on the nature of the event (small venue, free-entry screening, etc.).
2. confirm the event
If the conditions suit you, please contact us at contact@maatmov.com to check the director’s availability for a screening and discussion, or to request a specialized speaker.
Once the date, time, and location are set, we will send you an information form to complete.
This information is used to:
- Prepare the event communication on our website.
- Issue the invoice.
- All collected data will, of course, remain strictly confidential.
3. prepare the screening
Once the form is validated:
- We publish your screening on our website.
- We arrange the delivery of the film directly with the venue.
- We provide you with the necessary communication materials (posters, texts, images).
- We put you in contact with the director or speaker so you can organize their presence in your city.
4. for cinemas
If you are a cinema, we can connect you with local associations to co-organize the screening, helping to ensure broader outreach for the event. The organizer will also handle the logistical aspects of the director’s or speaker’s visit.
We have an exhibition visa and a dematerialized DCP copy for all our films.
